What I think of the products this month

Let’s go in order of use, if you are truly minimalist with your skincare routine all you need to add to this collection is a cleanser and a toner.

After cleansing you would apply the African Botanics Marula Bunchu Enzyme Polish which has fine granuals to help you gently massage and slough away dead skin, I never thought I would use a physical exfoliator but I am a convert.  

The scent of the exfoliator will not be for everyone but I love it as it’s earthy and resonates with the smell of African trees which is home to me. So you see to me this smells of home and my childhood I would say the fragrance is derived from the Buchu plant and crushed Baobab fruit. 

KEY ACTIVE BENEFITS Papaya and Pineapple enzymes for clearing the pores while minimizing their appearance and improving radiance. This is beauty sleep in a bottle and I can attest to that, as I woke up every morning with plumped well nourished skin after having applied this oil the night before, it’s divine.

This is how you would use the facial roller 

1. Start at the forehead, apply gentle pressure and begin rolling using upward and outward movements. 2. Apply a serum and moisturiser as normal. 3. Move slowly to cheeks and jawline, through to neck, finishing on neck and décolletage. 4. After 2 minutes of rolling, remove excess product with a cleanser or Queen of Hungary Mist on a cotton pad. 5. Apply a serum and moisturiser as normal. 

The bath oils
