Here I tried to bring the outside in, with limited resources and being in an apartment.
Nevertheless I still feel happy with my work so ofcourse I am happy to share.
Let me show you how to create a sanctuary (tropical paradise for yourself). I do wish someone had done this for me way earlier in my blogging career. The idea was to bring scents, sights and sounds of the outdoors in.
Bath salts, sage, candles & calming sounds all brought together very nicely by the foliage of these monstera.

The main feature of this transformation is plants, I am so into living plants, I actually feel bad about confining them to our small living spaces.
I find myself singing;”I’m so i
by SWV old school I know.
By feeling sorry I mean keeping them indoors, rather than let them flourish outside in nature where they are meant to be.

Here is how I managed to create this Pinterest worthy bathroom.
I took three potted plants that are relatively mature.
Placed two in between my skincare product, on space that is next to my mirror, then other plant on the ground since this is a tree resembling life form, and this is the result I got.

This was a fun project, I injected scents using candles I got from TKmaxx and some Epsom salts.

A glass of wine to set the mood and the sound of tuning water for sound.
If nothing else says I love me this bathroom does.
Would you try this in your own bathroom?
If you do tag me on instagram @essy_moyo and if you need help recreating your own space ”shoot your shot below.
I love you, why! Because if you are reading this I know you are a peace loving life loving creative being.
And you deserve unconditional love no matter what anyone says.
I will see you next Friday right here with more weekend self-care moments.
Here is a video of how it was all achieved
