Inspire Me Korea | Cleansing

Still on my rant about cleansing, as fate would have it, Inspire Me Korea approached me and asked if I could try out and review their November cleansing beauty box.
My obsession with Korean beauty is no secret so I leaped on this opportunity. It's a fact that within the skincare game no other nation is as ambitious as Korea at the moment. Korean brands are converging traditional and contemporary beauty ingredients; resulting in the most cutting edge of skincare products, that are rising in popularity world wide.

Before I go any further let me acquaint you with Inspire me Korea it is a culture subscription box Bring you
- Specially curated Korean products
- Best-selling beauty
- Popular snacks
- Kpop collectibles
- Korean culture merchandise
- Educational and trends magazine:
language, culture, entertainment, recipes and much more
With the ethos of delivering a taste of Seoul right to your door once a month, at the cost of £24.99.
Here is where I come into play, this month's box was a skincare treat. And the Star Product is The Etude House pure water baobab cleansing foam wash, which comes accompanied by a half moon eyes sponge which is to help you lather the cleansers so you can deeply clean your skin.

Ingredients
Water, Sorbitol, Adansonia Digitata Fruit Extract, Myristic Acid, Lauryl Hydroxysultaine, Potassium Hydroxide, Lauric Acid, Butylene Glycol,
Nelumbo Nucifera Flower Extract, Prunus Mume Fruit Extract, Nasturtium Officinale Extract, Lecithin, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer,
Moringa Pterygosperma Seed Extract, Stearic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Polyquaternium-7, Peg-14M, Glycerin, Sodium Chloride, Disodium Edta, Titanium Dioxide (Ci 77891),
Sodium Benzoate, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance
My First impressions
The cleansers has a gloopy consistency, which is not a problem, it doesn't foam as much as I accepted either; when used with the sponge. However, on the second cleanse after mixing it with water it did foam quite a bit.
I used it on the eyes, probably not advised, but I still did it in the name of research and alas no stinging.
It left my face squeaky clean though a second cleanse is definitely recommended.
After the cleanse I let my face dry without any product application, just to see if it would dry my skin out. I wouldn't say my face was moisturised but it wasn't dry either it was just comfortable.

Overall a really good cleanser which deserves all the accolades of being the start of this beauty box.

Also included are sheet masks from innisfree these already have a cult following, the following are the exact type included; the rice mask, tea tree mask, Manuka mask and the rose mask.
They retail for £1 here where you can also discover more about this brand.
The final products included in this box are three of the Etude House green tea nose pack, the manufacturer claims that this nose pack uses the anti-oxidising properties of green tea to effectively clear out impurities and black heads for smooth clean pores.
This box is great as an introduction to Korean skincare, or for teenagers discovering Skincare.
It makes an idea Christmas present and I am sure it will be well recieved by any skincare fiend.
Especially if you are on a budget this beauty box is ideal.
Total cost of the contents is around £13.50 yet you pay £24.99. However shipping to the U.K. is extortionate.
I will let you make up your own mind weather this is worth while or not.
I can not pretend you are getting an amazing deal with this beauty box, in terms of contents only, but when you add shipping charges it starts to make sense, what you are paying for is convenience and avoiding exuberant p&p.
You could probably get all these products for less by asking relative and friends to get them for you.
However, if your are a busy bee like me and those extra pounds don't bother you this is a nice entry level skincare curation.
This was the response from Inspire me Korea to clarify that this box is actually good value.
"I just wanted to clarify that our BEAUTY box is priced at £24.99 as a one off box and our CULTURE box is priced at £13.99 per month on a subscription.
