Zara The Beauty Collection First Impressions

As the saying goes first impressions matter, and Zara haven’t disappointed.

Except the very minor attention to detail here and there.

If you look closely at the mirror in the compact you will know what I am talking about.

But for entry level mid range semi luxury makeup not bad at all.

This makeup line is probably going to appeal to zara loyalists, and a younger crowd

I bought two products to try i didn’t want to waste anything.

I have my eye on La Bouche Paris so curiosity got the best of me, as soon as I understood that the Zara makeup collection was clean refillable! everything I am looking for in my staple makeup must haves.

Lets get straight to the packaging

It’s white sleek and minimalistic the type of look we have come to expect from Zara.

If Zara made furniture I think we all agree it would be Scandinavian vibes, of which this makeup packaging would be right at home on a Scandinavian type dressing table.

In your bag the stiletto demi matte lipstick would sit well even in the smallest of purses. However, the bronzer is a bit bulky so you would need a little bit more space to accommodate it.

STILETTO DEMI-MATTE LIPSTICK

Well this lipstick is pigmented enough though nothing to rave too much about.

It enhances every little dry skin on the lips so you will need to prep the lips ie scrub and moisturise before you use it for best results.

It didn’t seem to last very long on me but more testing will be needed before I get to a firm conclusion.

I like the fact that it comes in many colours I just hope the colour pay off is good.

Bronzing Powder

Comes in 4 Shades, I got the sublime intense. I assumed it was the best for dark skin. I was shocked when I looked at it at first.

Honestly it loo horrible I was convinced it would look ashy on me.

To my surprise it didn’t, it has a hint of shimmer and if you blend it well looks very good.

As good as it gets with a £15 formulation.

I am not being snobbish here you can definitely get a good look with it but don’t expect miracles.

It makes up for its short fall on the eyes if you ask me.

This Bronzer makes for a very nice understated but not to be underestimated eye shadow.

Very alluring quite attractive on my dark skin should I say.
